Our Story

Founded by Hameed Hani, 5mm Design started as a London based Interior Design Consultancy.

Having worked across multiple design disciplines, from Architecture & Interior Design to Jewellery Design and Branding, Hameed brings a wealth of experience and attention to detail to his work, creating high quality bespoke project and exceeding clients’ expectations.

5mm Design Studio is named for its realisation of even the smallest detail and its focus on precision workmanship. We work across all aspects of bespoke residential and commercial interior design projects from concept development and spatial planning to finishes, bespoke joinery and interior styling to budget planning and on-site project management.

In 2016, 5mm opened its first flagship home accessories & lifestyle store in Central London. The store showcased a curated home dècor collection that reflects the 5mm design aesthetic and style.

In 2019, 5mm Design won a 5 Stars Design Excellence award at the UK Property Awards for the ‘Best Office Interior Design’ category for the Holborn Office project.

As the brand grew, 5mm Design transformed the London store concept into an online shopping experience, specialising in Brass & Copper home accessories, with worldwide shipping.

Luxury made affordable  

 Our home accessories online store is driven by the concept of luxury made affordable. The concept was derived from the challenge we faced in sourcing unique home accessories and designer homeware to style our interior design projects, without the over-the-top price tag that comes with them. We want to give our customers a shopping experience that reflects the world of luxury interiors at accessible prices.
